Intercontinental The Grand Hotel, New Delhi

Our setup is over in Sector 10 of RK Puram, specifically in the Type 4 quarters at Nivedita Kunj. It’s a bit of a residential feel compared to the big flashy hotels you see in the center of New Delhi. Working for Intercontinental The Grand Hotel means things are usually fast-paced, even if the office itself is tucked away in this neighborhood. We spend a lot of time on the phone or handling paperwork that comes through. Delhi traffic is a nightmare most mornings, so getting to the 110022 area can take longer than you’d think. The rooms here aren't like a corporate boardroom; they feel more like a lived-in space where we get the real work done. There’s always someone coming in with a question or a form that needs signing. We don’t have those big polished lobbies here; it’s just us at our desks surrounded by files. Sometimes we take a break and walk around the block just to clear our heads from all the booking details and logistics. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage to make it work. It’s not about being fancy; it’s about making sure the guests at the main hotel actually have everything ready when they arrive. We’re just the people behind the scenes keeping the wheels turning from our little corner of the city. We don’t have a script, just jobs to do.
