Intercontinental Hotels Group

We are based at A-92 Dayanand Colony in Lajpat Nagar-4, New Delhi. This place isn't one of those big hotels you might be thinking of. Instead, this is where we do the administrative work for the group. It’s a regular office in a residential-style colony, and we have been here for a good number of years. The day starts early with a lot of emails and phone calls. We deal with the stuff that keeps the hotels running, like managing accounts and handling the paperwork that nobody else wants to do. The area around Lajpat Nagar is always bustling, so there’s plenty of noise from the street. Inside, we just have our desks, some old chairs, and a lot of folders. We aren't trying to be fancy or sound like a big corporation. We’re just a group of people working together to make sure everything stays organized. Sometimes the printers jam or we run out of tea, and those are the kinds of things we deal with alongside the bigger tasks. Most of us live nearby, so we know the local shops and the best places to grab a quick lunch. It’s a steady routine of checking numbers and updating files. We don't have a big lobby or a concierge here, just a door and a lot of work to get through every single day. It might be boring for some, but it’s what keeps the whole thing together.
