Fashion House

B-252 Industrial Area Phase- I is where we spend almost all our time. It’s a loud place, being right in the middle of everything in Okhla. You can always hear the sound of trucks backing up or machines running in the buildings next to us. Fashion House is easy to find if you tell people we are near the Okhla Police Station. It’s a bit of a landmark for everyone around here. The dust from the industrial activity is a constant battle, so we are always wiping down the counters and the windows. It’s not a fancy neighborhood, just a lot of people working hard. We usually get our tea from the small shack near the police station entrance. The walk from the main road can be a bit long when the sun is out, but we’re used to it by now. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just us keeping track of the inventory and moving boxes around. There’s always something to do, whether it’s fixing a shelf or checking a delivery. Phase- I is always moving, and we are just one small part of that. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s just a practical workspace in a busy part of town. Most of the people we see are delivery drivers or workers from the other units in the B-252 block. It’s just a regular industrial day, and we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves if it were suddenly quiet.
