Hyatt Regency

Our office is located at S-365 in the School Block of Shakar Pur. It’s a very crowded part of Delhi, and the streets are always full of people, rickshaws, and delivery bikes. Finding us can be a bit of a challenge if you aren't used to the layout of Shakar Pur, but once you find the School Block, you’re mostly there. We work for Hyatt Regency from this location, which might seem strange since it’s not a hotel building, but this is where we do our thing. The space is practical, with basic furniture and plenty of files. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front of the building directly. We have some fans going all day to keep the air moving. There’s a lot of noise from the street that comes through the windows, but we’ve all learned to talk over it. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we have a good understanding of the local area. We usually grab snacks from the vendors downstairs during our breaks. It’s a humble place to work, and we don't try to make it look like something it isn't. We just show up, handle the reservations or whatever paperwork is on the desk, and go home. It’s a busy, noisy, and very real part of our lives here in East Delhi. We make it work even when it gets a bit hectic.
