Hyatt Regency New Delhi

Working over here in Shakarpur is quite a bit different than what people expect when they hear the name. We are tucked away in Sunder Block, and it is a real neighborhood vibe around here. You have the local shops right next door and kids playing in the lanes sometimes. Our building isn't a giant skyscraper or anything, just a practical place where we get the work done. Every morning starts with a quick meeting to see what needs cleaning or who is arriving. It gets a bit dusty with the construction nearby, so we are always wiping down the counters and desks. Most of us live close by, so we just walk or take a rickshaw to the office. We do not have a big corporate cafeteria, just a small corner where we keep the kettle. It is funny how people get lost trying to find the S 85 address, we usually have to go stand outside to wave them in. The paperwork piles up just like anywhere else. We handle the bookings and make sure the rooms are ready for whoever is coming through New Delhi. It is a lot of routine, really. Checking IDs, handing out keys, and making sure the light bulbs aren't burnt out. It is just us doing our jobs in this little slice of the city. We don't worry about being fancy, we just worry about getting through the daily list.
