Hughes Software Systems Ltd. is over on the 2nd floor of the Nirlac Centre. That’s at B25 in the Qutab Institutional Area. It’s a bit quieter around here compared to the main markets, which is nice for getting work done. We’re mostly software people, so you’ll find us hunched over laptops most of the time. The office is decent, but it’s definitely lived-in. There are piles of notebooks and half-empty coffee mugs on most of the tables. We don't really go for the corporate look; we just wear whatever is comfortable and get to it. The Nirlac Centre has a few other businesses, so we see the same faces in the hallway every day. Sometimes we go for a walk around the area when our eyes get tired of the screens. There aren't any big slogans on our walls. It’s just a place where we write code and try to solve technical problems. We started out with just a couple of people and grew a bit, but the vibe is still pretty relaxed. We don't have a fancy kitchen, just a kettle and some biscuits. It’s a practical workspace for a team that doesn't like a lot of fuss. If you’re looking for us, we’re just up the stairs on the second floor. We handle our software tasks one at a time and keep moving forward.
