Hotel

Our little place is called Hotel, and we are tucked away over at Wz-52A in Phase II of Om Vihar. It’s right there in Uttam Nagar, and most people find us because we’re so close to the Angel Public School. If you see the school, you’re basically here. We’ve got a few rooms and we try to keep them tidy for whoever stops by, whether they’re visiting family in New Delhi or just passing through the area. It’s not a huge building, but it does the job. Usually, it’s just us making sure the sheets are clean and the water is running okay. The neighborhood is pretty lively, so there’s always noise from the street, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t have a big lobby or fancy breakfast buffets or anything like that. People just come in, get their key, and go about their business. Sometimes we sit out front and watch the traffic go by when things are quiet. It gets a bit hectic when the school lets out, but otherwise, it’s a fairly straightforward way to spend the day. We’ve been at this location for a while now and we know most of the shopkeepers around the corner. It’s just a regular local business run by regular people who live nearby and know the streets of 110059 well enough to give directions.
