Hotel

We have a spot in Safdarjung Enclave, specifically at C-21/22 in the Krishna Nagar area of New Delhi. It’s a hotel, but we don't run it like those huge places you see in the movies. We’ve been here for a good while. The building is just a regular Delhi structure. We have rooms for people who are passing through or staying for work. It’s a busy neighborhood, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving about outside. Inside, we try to keep things simple. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a gym or anything like that. It’s just rooms with beds and the basics you need. We handle the cleaning and the check-ins ourselves. Sometimes the computer is slow or the paperwork gets a bit messy, but we manage. We aren't trying to be a five-star place. We just provide a place to sleep that isn't too expensive. Most of our guests are regulars who know what to expect. We see all kinds of people coming in. It’s just a few of us working here, so we do everything from fixing a leaky tap to answering the phones. We like this part of town because it’s close to everything. We don't use any big marketing tricks. We just stay open and wait for the next guest to show up at the door. It’s a practical, local business that keeps us busy every day.
