Hotel Vikram

We’ve been here at Rzg 367 in Raj Nagar for a while now. It’s part of the Palam Colony area, which stays pretty busy most of the time. If you know New Delhi, you know how these streets get. The hotel is just a regular building where we keep things running day to day. Usually, it’s about making sure the rooms are ready and the fans are working. We spend a lot of time on the ground floor just watching the traffic go by outside. It isn’t anything fancy. People come here because it’s close to the airport and easy to find once you get into Part-2. The address can be a bit tricky if the taxi driver is new, but we usually just tell them to look for the sign near the main turn. Our staff lives nearby so they know the area well. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We keep a few registers on the desk to track who is coming and going. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big fancy lobby with statues or anything like that. Just some chairs and a desk where we sit. Most mornings start with tea and checking the water tanks. It is a lot of routine work, like fixing a leaky tap or changing light bulbs. We just stay here and do what needs doing to keep the place open for whoever stops by.
