Hotel Vikram

Hotel Vikram has been sitting here in Sant Nagar for quite some time. If you know the East of Kailash area in New Delhi, you know it can get pretty crowded and lively. Our building is right at 282, and we see all sorts of people walking past our doors every single day. It’s a mix of locals going to work and travelers who are just trying to find a decent place to stay while they explore the city. We don't have a lot of fancy corporate talk here. We just focus on keeping the rooms tidy and making sure the lights stay on. Usually, the lobby is where everything happens. You’ll hear the sounds of the street outside—horns honking and people chatting—and that’s just life in Delhi. It can be a bit noisy sometimes, but that’s what you get when you’re in the middle of it all. We have a staff that has been around for a bit, so we kind of know the rhythms of the place. We keep the registers updated and talk to the guests when they check in. It’s mostly just making sure the beds are made and the water is running. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in the world, just a reliable spot on the map. It’s a lot of work running a hotel, but we just take it one day at a time here. By nightfall, things usually settle down a bit, and we get ready to do it all over again tomorrow.
