Hotel Vasundhara

Hotel Vasundhara is situated on the 2nd Floor at E 247/4, Shaheen Bagh. It’s right in the middle of Jamia Nagar in Okhla. We’ve got rooms for people who are passing through or visiting family in New Delhi. It’s not a five-star place with a bunch of gold leaf, but it’s a solid spot to sleep. We spend our mornings changing out the linens and making sure the bathrooms are scrubbed down. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit of a climb if you have heavy bags, but we usually try to help out if we’re around. Shaheen Bagh is a very lively area, so there’s always food nearby and people on the streets until late. We get all kinds of guests, from students to people here for medical reasons or just visiting the city. We keep a register at the front desk and someone is usually there to hand out keys. It’s a bit noisy outside sometimes because of the traffic in Okhla, but that’s just Delhi life. We don’t have any big fancy speeches about hospitality. We just provide a room, a bed, and a bit of peace for the night. We’ve been here for a while and we just take each day as it comes. If you arrive late, just ring the bell and someone will let you in.
