Hotel The Ashok ( Itdc)

Our office is on the second floor of Ra-27 over in the Inderpuri area of New Delhi. It is not the big hotel building you might be thinking of, but rather the administrative space where we handle the behind-the-scenes stuff. The stairs going up to the second floor are a bit steep, so we get our exercise every day. Inside, it’s a working environment with plenty of files and some older computers we use for all the data entry. We’ve been at this Inderpuri 110012 location for quite some time now. It’s not a very polished place, just a room where we get the work done. In the summer, it can get a bit warm, so we keep the fans running all day long. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist at the front. It’s just us at our desks, usually busy with the logistics and paperwork that comes with the ITDC connection. We know the local area well and often grab lunch from the small shops nearby. Most of our time is spent making sure the bookings and schedules are all correct. It’s a practical kind of job. We don’t bother with much decoration on the walls, just a few maps and calendars to keep us on track. It is a steady rhythm of work that keeps us occupied from morning until evening. We just do our part to keep everything running from this little office.
