Hotel The Aman New Delhi

We are located over in Kalkaji at J-3/70 in the D.D.A. Flats. It is a busy part of New Delhi, but we try to keep things steady here. The building isn't fancy or anything, just a place where people stay when they are passing through or have work nearby. Most days start early with the tea being made and people checking out to catch their morning trains. We have been here for a bit now, and you get used to the sounds of the neighborhood. The rooms are basic. We spend a lot of time just making sure the linens are clean and the fans work right because the heat in Delhi can be tough. Sometimes the water pressure acts up, but we fix it as soon as someone tells us. It’s mostly just us running around, answering the phone, and showing people to their rooms. We don’t have a big lobby or a fancy restaurant, but there are plenty of spots to eat right outside the gate. It gets crowded on the streets around here, especially in the evenings. We just focus on keeping the doors open and making sure the lights stay on for whoever shows up late. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do every day. Sometimes we sit out front when it's quiet just to catch a bit of air. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in the city, just a reliable spot in Kalkaji for whoever needs a bed for the night.
