Hotel Taj Palace,New Delhi

Now, when people hear Hotel Taj Palace, they usually think of the big fancy building. But our part of things is actually over in Lajwanti Garden, down at Wz-308 in Gali Number 12. This is more of a back-office or a residential base for some of the operations we handle in New Delhi. It’s a very different vibe from the luxury hotels you see on TV. Gali 12 is a typical Delhi street—narrow, a bit loud, and full of neighbors who know each other’s business. We work out of this small space and keep things moving. There’s a lot of coordination that goes into running a big name like Taj, and it often starts in small rooms like this one. We deal with schedules, staff calls, and sometimes just general admin work that doesn't need a marble floor. It gets pretty cramped when we have a few people in here at once. We usually have a lot of tea and listen to the sounds of the street outside. It’s not a polished corporate office. It’s more like a home office that grew a bit too big. We don’t have a sign out front or anything. It’s just a place where the real work happens behind the scenes. We like being in Lajwanti Garden because it’s a real part of the city, not just a tourist spot. It feels more grounded to work here where people are just living their lives.
