Hotel Taj Palace

Hotel Taj Palace is situated at House No. 9, Sector 4, in the Old Mahavir Nagar area. We are specifically on the first floor. It is important to know that we aren't that huge, famous hotel you see in the magazines. We are a much smaller, local operation here in New Delhi. The neighborhood is a bit older and has a lot of character. Being on the first floor means guests don’t have to climb too many stairs, which is always a good thing. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy and making sure everything is in order for whoever comes through the door. It’s a practical business. We don't have a massive lobby with fountains or anything like that. It’s just a house that we’ve set up to accommodate people. The staff here is small, and we all do a bit of everything, whether it’s checking someone in or fixing something that’s broken. It gets a bit noisy outside sometimes because Old Mahavir Nagar is a lively place, but inside we try to keep things calm. We don't really have a big marketing strategy or fancy brochures. We just rely on being where we are and helping people who need a place to stay. It’s a basic setup, and we keep it honest. We just want to make sure the rooms are ready and the guests know where they are going without any unnecessary trouble. It is just how we run things.
