Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi

We go by the name Hotel Taj Palace here in New Delhi, but we are located in a very specific part of town. You can find us at A-299 in the Dhakka Johar area, which is part of Bhai Parmanand Colony. Our pin code is 110009. We aren't one of those giant, shiny hotels you see in the luxury travel magazines. We are a much more modest and local operation. The building is a regular structure in a busy colony where people live and work. We’ve been here for a bit, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Inside, things are kept simple. We don't have a huge staff or a team of people to polish everything to a high shine. It’s just us making sure the rooms are ready and the guests are taken care of. Most of the people who stay with us are just looking for a straightforward place to sleep without all the extra fuss. We don't do much in the way of advertising. We just rely on being here and doing our job every day. Sometimes the street outside gets a bit crowded with parked cars and local vendors, but that’s just how it is in this part of Delhi. We don't have a big corporate mission. We just try to be practical and keep things running as best as we can. It's a real place with real people working in it. We stay busy and keep going every single day.
