Hotel Sri Nanak Continental

Karol Bagh is a crazy place if you aren't used to it. Our place, Hotel Sri Nanak Continental, is right at 2222 on Hardhyan Singh Road. If you walk down the street, you'll see all the stalls and the people haggling over clothes and electronics. It’s loud from morning until way past dark. We have been here at this address for quite some time now. The building is older, but it holds up. We spend a lot of our time just managing the day-to-day stuff, like fixing a leaky faucet or making sure the linens are delivered on time from the laundry. Delhi weather can be tough, either too hot or a bit chilly, so we’re always fiddling with the cooling or the heaters. We aren’t trying to be some five-star place. We are just a family-run business in the middle of a very busy market. Most of our guests are shoppers or people in town for a few days of business. They like being close to the main roads. Sometimes the traffic on Hardhyan Singh Road gets so backed up that you can’t even move, but that’s just Karol Bagh for you. We just keep the doors open and wait for whoever comes in. It’s a lot of work keeping an old building running smoothly in the middle of Delhi, but we manage. We aren’t big on fancy talk, just providing a room when someone needs one.
