Hotel Singh Sons

We've been here in Chanakya Place Part-Ii for quite a while now. Hotel Singh Sons is just a regular building on the street, and we spend most of our time keeping the rooms in order and making sure the water is running right. It gets busy in this part of New Delhi, especially with the traffic on the main roads nearby. Our staff usually shows up early to start the cleaning. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just deal with it like everyone else around here. It isn't a fancy place, just somewhere for people to stay when they are passing through or have work in the city. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors and the local shops to get what we need for the kitchen. The lobby is small, so we mostly hang out by the front desk waiting for the next person to check in. It can be a bit noisy outside with the rikshaws and the cars, but that is just how it is in this neighborhood. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It's just a few of us making sure things are done properly every day. Sometimes we have to fix a leaky tap or paint a wall when it gets scuffed up. That is pretty much our whole day, from morning until late at night when things finally quiet down.
