Hotel Shanti Palace

Our place, Hotel Shanti Palace, is located at A/67 in the Mahipalpur Extension. We are very close to the airport, which is why most people end up finding us. The area is always moving, with taxis and people coming and going at all hours. Our building isn't fancy, but it’s sturdy and we keep it as clean as possible. The rooms are basic. We have beds that get the job done and bathrooms that have hot water most of the time. Sometimes you can hear the planes overhead, but that’s expected when you’re this close to the runways. We don't have a lot of the extras you might find in a big resort. There’s no spa or massive buffet. We have a small kitchen where we make simple meals if guests are hungry and don't want to wander out into the Mahipalpur streets. The staff here are local guys who know the area well. They can tell you where to catch a cab or how to get to the terminal quickly. We spend a lot of time just keeping up with the maintenance, painting a wall here or fixing a door there. It’s a practical spot for a quick stay before a flight. We aren't trying to be anything more than a reliable place to sleep for a night. If you arrive late, the bell is right there at the door and someone will wake up to help.
