You can find us at number 209 in Asola, right near the primary school. It’s a pretty easy landmark if you’re coming into this part of New Delhi. We’ve been running the hotel for some time, and it’s mostly a quiet spot except for when the kids are heading to school in the morning. The building itself is straightforward, nothing like those giant glass towers you see in the city center. We keep the rooms tidy and make sure there’s enough water and clean sheets for whoever is staying the night. It’s a family-run kind of feel, and we’re usually around the front desk if someone needs a hand with their bags or directions. Sometimes travelers get lost looking for Asola, but once they see the school, they know they’re close. The neighborhood is fairly calm in the evenings, which is nice for the guests. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who handle the cleaning and the front gate. It’s a practical place to stay if you have business nearby or just need a bed for the night. We’ve had all kinds of people stay here, from workers to visiting relatives. We just keep things simple and try to make sure the lights are on and the place is secure for everyone who walks through the door. In the afternoons, it gets really quiet once the school day is in full swing. We use that time to check the rooms and make sure everything is ready for the next person. The building isn't very new, so there’s always a tap that needs fixing or a lightbulb that’s gone out, but we stay on top of it. We don’t have a big fancy lobby with a fountain or anything, just some chairs and a table with some old newspapers. It’s a place where you can just be yourself and not worry about being in a high-pressure environment. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, and they often wave when they see us out front sweeping the walkway.
