Hotel Shangrila New Delhi

We have been running things here at 2 Siddarth Nagar for quite a while now. Our place is located right above the Shivnanda Public School, tucked away on the 3rd floor. Being in New Delhi 110014 means there is always a lot of noise and movement outside, especially when the school bell rings and the kids head home. It is not one of those fancy, towering hotels you see in the magazines. We are just a small spot where people can find a room. The climb up to the third floor keeps us busy, and honestly, the stairs can be a bit much after a long day of work. We spend most of our time just making sure the beds are made and the rooms are tidy for whoever shows up. It is a simple operation run by a few of us who have lived in this area for years. We know the local shops and the best places to get a quick bite nearby. Sometimes the plumbing gives us a bit of trouble or a lightbulb flickers out when we least expect it, but we just fix it and keep going. We do not have a big lobby or a flashy entrance. You just find the school, look for the stairs, and head up to see us. It feels more like a home than a business most days. We are just regular people trying to provide a decent place to stay in a very busy city.
