Hotel Savoia

Hotel Savoia is over at 87-B in Sarai Jullena. We are right across from Escort Hospital in New Delhi. This makes it a very busy spot because there are always people coming and going from the hospital at all hours. We see a lot of families who are staying close to their relatives. The building has been here for years and it shows its age a bit, but we keep it clean. It is a simple place, really. We don't have those big glass elevators or expensive fountains. It’s just a front desk, some rooms, and a small kitchen area where we make tea and simple meals. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a lightbulb goes out, but we fix it as soon as we can. Our staff consists of a few locals who know the Sarai Jullena area inside out. If you need to find a specific medicine or a quick snack, they can tell you exactly which shop to go to. We spend a lot of time just talking to the guests and making sure they have what they need for the night. It isn't a glamorous life, but it is honest work. We are just a group of people trying to provide a place for others to rest while they are in the city. The traffic on the main road can be loud, but once you are inside, it feels a bit more settled.
