Hotel Romano Retreat

Hotel Romano Retreat is sitting right at F-2013 in Netaji Nagar. It’s a central spot in New Delhi, so we get a lot of people passing through for all sorts of reasons. The building itself is an older one, but it has a bit of character that you don't find in the newer places. We spend most of our time making sure the rooms are ready and the hallways are swept. It’s not a giant luxury place with hundreds of staff. It’s just a few of us making sure things run like they should. Netaji Nagar is a pretty settled area, so it’s not as noisy as the markets, which our guests seem to like. We have a small desk near the entrance where we check people in. The paperwork can be a bit of a headache, especially when the computer system is being slow. We often stand out front in the mornings just to see the street wake up. The trees around the building drop a lot of leaves, so someone is always out there with a broom. We don't have a fancy dining hall, but there are plenty of good places to eat just a short walk away. It’s a practical place to stay if you’re in the city for work or just visiting family. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed and easygoing because traveling is stressful enough for most people. It's just a regular hotel life for us here in Delhi. We handle the laundry and the keys every single day.
