Pitampura is a very active part of the city with lots of markets and shops nearby. Our hotel is a simple, straightforward building on a regular street. We have several rooms spread across the floors for guests who are passing through. It is definitely not a luxury resort with a pool. We provide the basics like a bed, a ceiling fan or an AC, and a small bathroom. We handle the daily cleaning ourselves every morning. The street outside can get a bit loud at night because of the traffic, but that is just part of living in this area of Delhi. We have a small wooden desk near the front door where we check people in and out. We still use a large paper ledger to write down the names and details. It is an old way of doing things, but it works for us. We don't have a large staff, just a couple of us who take turns watching the door. We know all the local tea stalls in the Mu Block and can tell you where to get a decent meal. It is a plain and honest place to stay.
