Hotel Metro City

We've been running Hotel Metro City here in Shastri Nagar for a while now. It's tucked away in Nimri Village, right at Wz-128. If you know the area, it’s a busy spot but we try to keep things quiet inside for whoever is staying. Most people who come through are just looking for a decent place to sleep while they're in Delhi for work or visiting family nearby. We don't have fancy lobbies or anything, just rooms that get the job done. I usually spend my mornings checking the water tanks and making sure the staff cleaned the hallway floors properly. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We see a lot of regulars who know us by name. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you might see me sitting near the entrance most days handling the ledger or talking to the laundry guy. We aren't trying to be one of those huge five-star places you see in the magazines. We just provide a roof and a bed for people who need to stay in this specific corner of Delhi. The Metro isn't too far, which helps people get around. Every day is pretty much the same, greeting people, handing out keys, and making sure the lightbulbs are working. It's honest work and we've been at it for years at this address. We just keep things moving.
