Hotel Meriton

You can find us over at 34-B in Deep Enclave, Pocket-D. This is Ashok Vihar Phase III in Delhi. It’s a residential area, so it’s usually a bit quieter than the main markets. Hotel Meriton is basically a small building tucked away in the enclave. People sometimes get lost trying to find Pocket-D because the signs aren't great, but once they see the building, they’re fine. We spend our mornings checking people out and getting the rooms ready for the next ones. It’s a lot of laundry and making sure the water heaters are working right. The staff here is small, just a few of us who have been around for years. We don’t have a massive lobby with fountains or anything like that. Just a counter and a place to sit while we get your ID details. Ashok Vihar has some nice parks nearby, so sometimes we take a walk during our break. The building has been here for a while and shows its age in some spots, but we keep it clean. It’s just a regular local hotel. We deal with all kinds of guests, from people visiting family to folks here for work. At night, the street lights are a bit dim, but the neighborhood feels safe enough. It’s just a simple place to stay while you’re in Delhi. We don't have many fancy things, just a room to sleep in and a quiet street.
