Hotel Marina

We have been here at G-59, Connaught Circus for quite a while now. The building is one of those old ones in the circle that everyone recognizes when they walk past. It’s got that specific look of the blocks here. Every morning starts about the same way. We open up the main doors and wait for the milk delivery to arrive. It’s usually a bit noisy outside because of the traffic and the people heading to work, but inside it stays relatively calm. Hotel Marina isn't fancy, just a place with rooms and hallways that we keep clean. The paint on some of the window frames is starting to show its age, but we try to keep up with the repairs when we can. Mostly, it’s just us doing the daily chores like changing sheets and making sure the lights work in the corridors. People come in from the metro station nearby, looking for a place to sit down for a minute or check in. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a handful of us who know where everything is kept. If a bulb goes out, one of us grabs the ladder from the back room. The lobby has these heavy chairs that have been there for years. We spend a lot of time just watching the street from the front window. It’s a busy spot, G-59, and there’s always something happening right outside our door.
