Hotel Marina

Hotel Marina is located at 93, Hauz Rani in the Malviya Nagar area. It’s a busy part of New Delhi-110017, with a lot of people moving around the narrow streets nearby throughout the day. Our building isn't a massive five-star place, but it’s where we work every day to keep things running for our guests. The lobby is small and we’ve had to fix the front door a few times because it sticks in the summer heat. We spend our shifts checking people in, making sure the rooms are tidy, and answering the phone when someone calls to ask for directions from the metro station. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living and working in Delhi. The staff here is mostly local, and we all know the best spots to get a quick bite to eat in Hauz Rani when we have a break. We don’t use any fancy systems, just a ledger and a computer that’s a few years old now and sometimes takes a while to boot up. The curtains in some of the rooms could probably use a wash, but we do our best with what we have. It’s a real place with real people working there, and things aren't always perfect. We deal with lost keys and leaky taps as they come up during the week. We just try to make sure guests have a place to sleep.
