Hotel Lemon Tree

Hotel Lemon Tree is tucked away at 1A, 242 in the Railways Officer's Flats area of New Delhi. It’s a very central spot, right in the 110001 zone, which makes it handy for people traveling through the city for various reasons. It’s not one of those massive luxury towers you see in the glossy travel magazines. We’re located in a more residential-feeling part of town, so it stays a bit quieter than the main markets or the big transit hubs. The building has been around for a long time. We have rooms for people who are in town for work or just visiting their family for a few days. My family helps run the place, so you’ll usually see one of us behind the desk or helping with the bags when someone arrives. It can get a bit crowded in the hallways when we’re completely full, but we try to keep things as tidy as possible. We don’t have a big restaurant or a swimming pool, just clean beds and a place to rest your head at night. Being near the railway flats means we get a lot of people who work for the trains or are just stopping over before catching their next ride to another city. The neighborhood has a lot of history, and you can walk to some of the old parts of Delhi from here if you don’t mind the heat and the crowds. We just try to make sure everyone has what they need for the night. It’s a simple business, really, and we like it that way.
