Hotel Le Grand

Hotel Le Grand is based out of 20/610 in the D.D.A. Flats in Kalka Ji. This part of New Delhi is always crowded, and our little spot is no different. It is a flat that we use as our main office, and it has a very lived-in feel to it. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we have been too busy to get around to it. We have several desks squeezed into the rooms, and there are always folders and ledgers laying around. It is a bit of a trek to get here if you are not used to the layout of the flats, but we like it because it is right in the heart of the community. We know the people at the local shops and we usually get our lunch from the vendor down the street. It is not a corporate environment at all. We wear comfortable clothes and we talk to each other across the rooms. The phones ring quite a bit, and there is usually a lot of chatter about room bookings and logistics. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or expensive furniture. Everything we have is functional and has been with us for years. It is a bit messy sometimes, especially on Mondays, but we know where everything is. Being in Kalka Ji gives us a good connection to the city. It is just a plain, honest workspace where we do our daily tasks without any of the extra polish.
