Hotel Kohinoor Continental, Mumbai might have a name that points somewhere else, but our office is right here at 82-G, Aram Bagh in Pahar Ganj. Being in New Delhi-110055 means we are in one of the most crowded and famous parts of the city. Our space is in a narrow lane, typical of Pahar Ganj, where there is always a lot of movement and noise. It is a simple office where we handle things related to the hotel and help out with local inquiries. The building is old and has a lot of character, much like the rest of Aram Bagh. We do not have a big lobby or a fancy sign. It is just a door with our name on it and a couple of rooms inside where we work. Pahar Ganj is a place where people from all over the world walk by every minute. We spend our day dealing with the heat, the noise, and a lot of paperwork. It is not a polished corporate environment, but it is real. We have a small staff and we all know each other well. Sometimes the streets are so blocked with rickshaws that it takes a while just to get to the door. We have been at 82-G for quite some time now. We just focus on the daily tasks and keep things running without any big promises or marketing talk. It is a busy, slightly messy, and very human way to work in the heart of Delhi.
