Hotel Jukaso It (Gurgaon)

You can find us at House No. 806 on Mandir Wali Gali in the Kapashera area. Even though it says Gurgaon in the name, we are actually situated right on the border in New Delhi, zip code 110037. The street we are on is quite narrow and always has people walking around or motorbikes zooming past. Our building is a simple one and we have set it up to accommodate people who need a place to stay near the local offices. It is a very basic operation. We spend most of our morning hours checking the rooms and making sure everything is in its place. Since it’s a house-style setup, it doesn't feel like those big chain hotels you see on the main highway. We sit at a small desk near the entrance to greet whoever comes in. Sometimes the Mandir nearby has bells ringing or music playing, which we can hear quite clearly. We’ve been here for a long time and the neighbors all know us. We don't have any fancy bells and whistles. It’s just a place with beds and a roof. We do our own laundry and sometimes we are out in the alley talking to the local shopkeepers. It’s a very grounded way to run a business. We just try to stay busy and keep the rooms occupied throughout the week, which isn't always easy but we manage.
