Hotel Janpath

Hotel Janpath is located over in Shakarpur, specifically at S- 279 in the School Block. It is a lively area of New Delhi. We are not one of those massive glass buildings you see in the city center. We are a bit more low-key than that. Our building has been here for a while and it shows in a few spots, but we keep it clean. People stay here because they need a place to sleep while they are in town for work or visiting family. We see all sorts of travelers coming through. Some stay for one night, others for a week. We have a few staff members who have worked here since the beginning. We know where all the good food is in Shakarpur if someone asks. The rooms are basic. We have beds, towels, and the usual things people need. We do not have a big lobby with fancy fountains or anything like that. It is just a desk where you check in and some chairs to sit on. Sometimes the street outside gets noisy with the school nearby, but it usually quiets down in the evening. We spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure everything is ready for the next guest. It is hard work keeping a hotel running, but we are used to it. We just take it one day at a time here and try to keep things simple for everyone who visits.
