Hotel Intercontinental The Grand New Delhi

We are over in Palam Colony, right on Gali No. 24. The address is Rz, 26F in the Indira Park area. It is a tight neighborhood with lots of narrow lanes and people moving around all the time. Working here at Hotel Intercontinental The Grand New Delhi means we see a lot of different people coming through our doors. It is not like those big glass buildings you see in the city center. We are tucked away in a real part of town. Most of our day is spent just managing the daily chores. We have to make sure the rooms are okay and that people find the place alright since the galis can be a bit confusing if you are not from around here. It is a local operation. We do not have a marketing team or anything like that. We just answer the phones and show people to their spots. The 110046 area stays pretty busy at all hours. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets very crowded, but we just deal with it as it comes. It is an honest living for us. We keep the keys behind the desk and try to stay on top of the cleaning every day. It is just a regular building with a few of us working here to keep things going. We have seen the neighborhood change over the years. We just focus on the work right in front of us without much fuss.
