Hotel Grand Sartaj

You can find us at Md-28 in Pitampura, right in the thick of Delhi. It’s a busy neighborhood and we’re just one of the buildings along the street. The hotel isn't a massive skyscraper, just a decent place to stay if you’re visiting the city. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are tidy and the linens are fresh. The front desk sees a lot of travelers, some tired from the train and others just here for work. Delhi is always noisy, so we try to keep the inside as quiet as we can. Our staff has been here for a while, and we know which rooms get the best light in the morning. We don't have a fancy five-star restaurant, but we know where the good food is nearby. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to get the generator running, which is just part of living in Delhi. We see people from all over, carrying heavy bags and looking for a place to rest. We just give them their keys and tell them where the nearest metro station is. It’s simple work, really. Running a hotel is mostly about being there when someone needs a towel or a glass of water. We just keep the doors open and the lights on. It’s what we know how to do best after all these years.
