Hotel Crown Plaza

You can find us at 378/5 in Govind Puri, which is over in the Kalka Ji part of New Delhi. It's a very crowded area with a lot of shops and people moving around all the time. Our building is right in the middle of all that noise. We run the place with a small crew of people who have been here for a long time. We handle the check-ins and make sure the rooms are cleaned up every day. It’s not a quiet life, being in Govind Puri, but we like the energy of the neighborhood. We spend a lot of time talking to guests who are visiting the city for the first time. Sometimes we have to explain how to get to the metro or where the best local food is around here. The building itself is just a normal New Delhi structure. We don't have fancy elevators that talk to you or anything like that. It’s just a place to stay while you're in the city. We deal with the usual city problems like water or electricity cuts sometimes, but we just get through it and keep things moving. Our days are filled with laundry, keys, and phone calls. We aren't part of some massive chain with scripts to read. We just talk to people like normal and try to make sure they have what they need for the night. It's a simple business for us.
