Hotel Conclave

Hotel Conclave is over at 83-A, Jeevan Nagar. We are right near the Balasaheb Gurdwara and just opposite Maharanibagh. It’s a busy corner of New Delhi. Running a hotel means there is always something going on, day or night. Someone is always checking in late or asking for extra towels. We’ve been here in Jeevan Nagar for a good while, and the building has seen a lot of guests come through those front doors. It’s not a giant luxury resort, just a practical place for people to stay when they’re in the city. The staff here is pretty tight-knit. We do everything from making sure the rooms are tidy to helping people find their way around the neighborhood. Being near the Gurdwara means we hear the sounds from there sometimes, which is actually quite nice. The traffic on the road outside can be a lot, especially during rush hour, but inside we try to keep things calm. We deal with all sorts of travelers, some for business and some just passing through. There’s always a bit of laundry to do or a lightbulb that needs changing. It’s a lot of physical work, keeping a building like this running. We don't have any fancy corporate manuals. We just talk to each other and fix problems as they happen. It’s a real place with real people working hard every single day to keep things moving and the guests happy enough.
