Hotel Ashok, New Delhi

Hotel Ashok, New Delhi, is actually run out of this ground floor spot at 7290 in Prem Nagar. We are located on Street No. 2 in the Shakti Nagar area. It’s a local part of Delhi where things are always moving. Our space on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in from the street. We handle the bookings and the management side of the hotel business from here. It’s a small office with a couple of desks and some old filing cabinets. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. We spend our days talking to guests on the phone and checking the room availability. It’s a lot of routine work, but we like the pace of it. Shakti Nagar is a lively neighborhood, so there’s always something happening outside the door. We aren’t one of those massive corporate chains with a huge lobby here; it’s just a practical office where the real work happens. Sometimes the street gets a bit noisy with traffic, but we just close the door and keep going. We've been at this Shakti Nagar address for quite a while now. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just seeing the sign on the street. It’s a basic setup, but it’s where we get things done every day. We don't mind the noise much.
