Hilton Hotels

We’re running things for Hilton Hotels from this location at 148-C, Pocket-F in New Delhi. This isn't one of those massive towers you see in magazines, but it’s our base of operations for this part of the city. We’re right here in the 110091 area, which is a bit more settled and less noisy than the city center. Our days are mostly spent managing the various bits and pieces that go into hospitality. There’s a lot of back-and-forth between staff and making sure the guest details are right. It’s not always smooth sailing. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a delivery is late, and we have to scramble. That’s just the reality of the hotel business. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just provide a place for people to stay and try to make it comfortable. The building itself is functional. We have a small team here, and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to fixing a lightbulb. It’s a local feel even though the name is big. Most of our guests are just regular people traveling for work or visiting family in Delhi. We like being in Pocket-F because it feels more like a neighborhood. We know the local shops and where to get a good meal nearby. It’s a straightforward way to live and work in a big city like this. We just keep things going.
