Hilton Hotel Janakpuri New Delhi

Even though the name says Hilton Hotel Janakpuri New Delhi, our administrative spot is actually at A-418 in Dr. Ambedkar Nagar. This is in Sector-5 of Dakshinpuri, New Delhi-62. It is quite a distance from the actual hotel building but this is where some of our core staff works from. The neighborhood of Dakshinpuri is very crowded and full of life. It’s a lot of narrow lanes and small houses all packed together. Our office is in one of these structures at A-418. It’s a simple building where we handle a lot of the background tasks that people don't usually see. There are desks piled with folders and a few computers that have been around for years. We don't have the luxury of the hotel here, just the basic stuff we need to get the job done. The morning starts with everyone squeezing their scooters into the parking space. It’s a loud area with vendors selling things on the street and kids playing nearby. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear everything happening outside. We aren't trying to be anything special here, just a group of people working in a busy part of Delhi. It’s a practical setup and it works for us. We just come in, do the hours, and head home like everyone else in Dakshinpuri.
