About Hanuwant Palace – Hotels, Motel & Resorts in New Delhi
Being over here in Mahipalpur at A 31/2 means we deal with a lot of people just passing through. This part of Delhi never really sleeps because the airport is so close. You can hear the planes taking off if the windows are open. Hanuwant Palace isn't some fancy five-star place, it’s more of a spot for travelers who need a bed for a few hours or a night. We spend most of our shift checking people in who look exhausted from their flights. The lobby is small and the furniture has seen better days, but it works. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble, or a lightbulb goes out right when someone is checking in. We just go up and fix it. The street outside is always dusty and crowded with taxis honking at each other. It gets a bit overwhelming during the day. We have a small kitchen area where we make basic stuff like tea or some toast if someone asks. Mostly, we’re just handling keys and making sure the sheets are changed. It’s a lot of waiting around for the next guest to arrive. My shoes usually get covered in dust from the road outside just by standing near the door. It’s a practical place to work, nothing too complicated. We just try to make sure the rooms are ready when the phone rings at midnight with another booking. It is a simple job for the most part.
