Hangsine Textile Private Limited is tucked away in Paschim Puri. Specifically, we are at Flat No 575, on the third floor of Pkt-2. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s got a different feel than the big commercial hubs. We deal with all sorts of textiles. The third floor means we carry a lot of stuff up and down the stairs. It keeps us fit, I guess. New Delhi 110063 is where we call home. The office is usually full of fabric swatches and color charts. It can look a bit messy to someone walking in for the first time. We don't mind. It's how we work. Being in West Delhi is nice because we’re close to several local markets. We started out small and stayed that way. Most of our day is spent checking quality or talking to the weavers. There’s always a tea kettle going in the corner. We don’t have a flashy website or big ads. People usually hear about us through word of mouth. The neighborhood has a lot of small shops like ours. We all know each other and sometimes trade favors. If we run out of packing tape, we just go next door. It’s a community feel. We don't want to move anywhere else. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back. That's just life in the city. No big promises, just real work.
