Hindustan Tour

Hindustan Tour is tucked away in Office No. 225 on Street No 4. You have to head up to the second floor here in Haiderpur, Salimar Bagh, near Rohini. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step when you come up. It’s a busy part of the city. There is always noise from the street below, but we’re used to it. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking at computer screens. Travel planning takes up a lot of hours. We deal with tickets and routes and all that. It’s not always glamorous. Sometimes a booking gets stuck or a flight is late and we have to fix it. We aren't some massive agency with a call center. It’s just a handful of us in this office. We know each other well. We eat lunch together most days at the desks. The walls have a few old posters and maps pinned up. It’s how we keep track of things. People walk in sometimes asking for directions or about a trip they want to take. We do what we can to help them out. It’s a lot of talking and checking schedules. We don’t have fancy coffee machines or anything, just a kettle and some tea. It works for us. We just keep things moving and try to make sure every traveler gets their papers on time.
