If you look for us in Shaheen Bagh, we are way up on the fifth floor. Galicia Tea Private Limited is tucked away in C-149, Abdul Fazal Enclave-2. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn't working right, which happens more often than we’d like. Being in Jamia Nagar means the streets are always full of life and the smell of food. We work with tea, so our space usually smells like dried leaves and burlap bags. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the samples lying around. We spend a lot of time tasting different batches to see what's good. It’s not like those fancy tea ceremonies you see on TV; it’s just us in our regular clothes with some kettles and cups. The sun hits the fifth floor pretty hard in the afternoon, making it quite warm. We try to keep things simple here. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to sell tea that people actually want to drink. Sometimes we stay late because the work just doesn't end. Shaheen Bagh is a tight-knit community, and we like being part of it. We know the neighbors and the shopkeepers downstairs. It’s a very local feel. We handle everything from the packing to the shipping from this one spot. It’s a lot of work for a small crew, but we get it done eventually.
