Fuel Residency

We are located over in Export Enclave in Devli. It is a bit of a tucked-away spot in New Delhi, but we like it that way because it keeps the worst of the main road noise out. Running a residency like this means you never really have a day off. There is always a lightbulb that needs changing or someone asking for an extra towel at ten o'clock at night. I spend a lot of my time in the little office area near the entrance, just keeping track of who is coming and going. The neighborhood around here has changed a lot over the years, with more buildings and more people everywhere you look. It is a bit of a walk to the main transport links, but most of our guests do not seem to mind the walk. We have a few rooms that get a nice bit of sun in the morning, which I think is the best part of the whole building. My day usually involves a lot of talking on the phone and trying to fix things that break. The plumbing can be a headache sometimes, especially in the winter months when things get cold. We just try to keep the place clean and decent for everyone who stays here. It is not about being the biggest place in Delhi, just being a reliable one where people can rest. I usually grab a tea from the stall around the corner when I get a break.
