Even though our name mentions Gurgaon, this particular office is actually located at H- 9 D in Saket, New Delhi. It is a residential block, so it’s not what you would expect for a hotel office. We use this space for some of our administrative and back-end work. Saket is a nice area, very central with the mall nearby, but our street is a bit more tucked away. The building is just a regular house that has been converted for office use. We have a few rooms with desks and some filing cabinets. It’s where a lot of the coordination happens. We don't have guests staying here, obviously, since the actual hotel is elsewhere. It is more of a place for the staff to handle the paperwork and the bookings. We have a small team here. Sometimes it’s just a couple of us working. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time on the phone or computer. The 110017 area is easy to get to by metro or auto. We’ve been at H- 9 D for some time now. It’s a quiet spot which helps us get through the work without too many distractions. It’s a very simple setup, nothing like the big fancy lobbies you see in the actual hotels. We just focus on the tasks at hand every day. It’s not glamorous, but the work gets done and we all go home. That is what we do.
