Flying Fashions

Our workshop is located at E - 46 / 3 in the Okhla Industrial Area, Phase - Ii. If you know Okhla, you know it’s all about the work and the heat. We have a pretty large space here because of all the fashion items we handle. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of trucks and other factories nearby. Inside our doors, it’s usually a bit cooler, but we are always moving. We have rows of sewing stations and long cutting tables that take up most of the room. We don’t have fancy carpets or expensive paintings on the walls. It’s a functional space for making clothes. We spend a lot of time looking at thread counts and dye lots. The bins are always full of scraps, and there’s always a pile of boxes waiting by the loading dock. We’ve been in Phase II for quite a while now. We know the routine of the area, from the morning tea stalls to the evening shift changes. Flying Fashions is just a group of people who know how to put a garment together. We don't spend much time on looking polished. We just make sure the machines are oiled and the orders are packed correctly. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do every day. We have a small break area where we sit on plastic chairs and eat our lunch. The walls are painted a dull white, and we have calendars from years ago still hanging up. It’s not about the decor here; it’s about the output. We handle large orders, so we stay on schedule.
