The office here at 91A/U.B in Jawahar Nagar is a busy little place. It’s right in the heart of a crowded part of North Delhi, near the university area. We don’t have a massive glass entrance or anything like that. It’s an old building, and you can feel the history in the walls. We spend our days handling all kinds of details for the hotels. There are always papers moving from one desk to another and the sound of people talking on the phone. It’s not quiet, but it’s a good kind of busy. We have a few small rooms where we keep all the records. The stairs are narrow, and we have to be careful when moving boxes around. Most of us have been working here for years, so we know every corner of the place. We go out to the local stalls for lunch or just grab something quick at our desks. The streets outside are always full of students and rickshaws, so there’s a lot of noise coming through the windows. We don’t really worry about having a polished look. It’s more about making sure everything is organized and the work gets finished on time. We take care of the small things that keep the bigger machine running. It is just a regular office life in a very old part of the city. We like it that way because it feels real and grounded.
