Edenpark Hotels Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Okhla Phase II, right in the Millennium building at E 48/9. This area is mostly industrial and very busy during the day, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around. We work alongside the Sarovar Hotels team here. Our office isn’t exactly a vacation spot, even if we are in the hotel business. It is where the actual planning happens, with lots of spreadsheets and phone calls to different properties. We spend our time making sure rooms are ready and staff know what they are doing. It is a lot of coordination, and sometimes things get a bit chaotic when a big group is arriving somewhere. We aren’t the ones you see at the front desk in a nice suit; we are the ones in the back office making sure the lights stay on and the bookings are correct. New Delhi 110020 is a grit-and-grind kind of place, and that suits our work style. We do not really do the whole corporate polish thing here. We just want to make sure people have a decent place to stay when they travel. There is always someone running late or a system glitch to fix, but that is the hospitality life for you. We have been in this Okhla spot for a while, and while it is not the fanciest neighborhood, it gets the job done for us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day-to-day tasks that keep everything moving forward without any drama.
