Our business is run out of House Number 213 in Mandir Wali Gali. We are located right near Mother Land School in the Kapashera area of New Delhi. Since we deal with steel, our place is usually quite busy and a bit loud with the sound of metal being moved around. It’s a narrow lane, so getting big trucks in and out can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We aren't a big corporation with a fancy office; we just work out of this converted house. Most of the people working here have been with us for years and live nearby. You can often hear the school kids playing next door during their breaks, which is a nice change from the sound of the machines. The floor is usually covered in a bit of metal dust, and our desks are piled high with orders and delivery slips. We don't have a big sign out front, just the house number. People who need steel for their building projects usually find us by word of mouth. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the orders as they come in. It’s a bit of a gritty job, but we enjoy the daily routine of it. We don't do anything fancy, just supply steel to the people who need it in this part of the city. It’s a simple, hardworking life in a busy corner of Kapashera.
